This ornate corner pub is the third tavern to stand on this site since at least 1649. The present house was rebuilt in 1881, to designs by H J Newton who did a number of conversions for Watneys. The single bar has much dark, polished wood and retains several Victorian features, including the brass water-tap (not in use!) on the counter. There is also a Parliamentary Bell in the pub. Food includes sandwiches, pub classics, Sunday roasts and a kids' menu.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 3 regular beers.
Changing beers typically include: Greene King (seasonal) , St Austell - Tribute
Cask Ale
