McGiverns Festiv-ale wins the Gold award
at the Tamworth Beer Festival 2008

McGiverns Ales are presented with their certificate

Above McGiverns Ales in Wrexham is presented by Eric Randall with the Gold award from the Tamworth 2008 Beer Festival. Their Festiv-Ale was the first to sell out from a total of 98 ales that were on offer from 55 breweries. The Silver award to Wincle Brewery for their City Premier ale, whilst 3rd was the Outstanding Brewery Ginger ale.

Also a marvellous £298.12 was raised by the customers for our festival charity, St Giles Hospice. We were so impressed by your generosity that we made a matching donation from fest profits, so that this very worthy cause received £596.24 in total. Many thanks to all that donated!
