Well done! We did it.

Thanks to CAMRA members' tireless lobbying, the government have agreed to bring new laws in which will protect pubs across England in the planning system.

The law, due to be brought in by July 2017, will ensure that any conversion or demolition of a pub has to go through a full planning application process. This means that you will get a say over the future of your local.

This is a campaign which CAMRA members have been working towards over many years, and we have once again seen what we can achieve when we put our lobbying arm to use.

Now, it is essential that councils have strong pub protection policies in place to further support the industry and pub goers. please click here for more information on how to get involved in this campaign.
