Another way to get involved in this year's celebrations is to link in with Common Ground's Apple Day on 21 October 2010. As this falls midweek this year, there will be events happening on the weekends both before and after this date.

Common Ground is an organisation that encourages other groups to do things, mainly on a campaigning basis. This year is the 21st Apple Day and local events will be taking place throughout the UK in celebration. Last year there were over 250 and the list is still available to see on their website.

Events submitted for this year's events will be listed by county on the website from August onwards and can be submitted online now.

In addition to submitting your own events please also look for events that may benefit from having a CAMRA cider bar, or even just a CAMRA presence. Try and get involved in as many ways as you can, especially when they have already organised everything else for you!
