CAMRA, The Campaign for Real Ale, is currently seeking nominations from across the UK to find its National Club of the Year for 2011.
Under the rules of the competition, any club whose membership is open to all, and serves top quality real ale, is eligible to enter into the CAMRA Club of the Year competition.
John Holland, CAMRA Club of the Year competition Co-ordinator, said:
'This much sought after, prestigious award is open to all clubs that show commitment to good quality real ale and I'm really looking forward to seeing which clubs are nominated, whether known to CAMRA or not. No doubt they will come from every corner of the UK and represent virtually every type of club we have. I fully expect the judges to have a hard job deciding between them.'
In 2009, the CAMRA Club of the Year Award went to the Guiseley Factory Workers club in West Yorkshire.
Deadline for self-nominations is March 31st 2010, with the winner to be announced in May 2011.
All nominations for the award, complete with name and address, can be submitted online at www.camra.org.uk/coty or sent to: Ian Charlton, 11, Oxford Road, St. Johns, Wakefield, West Yorkshire. WF1 3LB, Tel (01924) 385 094 (home) 07776 383 477 (mobile) email ian.charlton@blueyonder.co.uk

Notes to editors:
Terms and conditions
Only one club can be entered from each of CAMRA's 200 local branches. In the event of there being more than one club in a branch area to be considered, the local branch will decide which will be put forward for the competition.
Unlike CAMRA's Pub of the Year competition where the entries are judged as a whole, Club of the Year is judged purely on commitment to good quality real ale.
Clubs that discriminate on the basis of dress, shape, size, gender, sexuality, colour, ethnic origin, or religion will not be considered.
