CAMRA's annual Awards Lunch and Champion Beer of Britain presentation took place at Lords Cricket Ground in London on Saturday (11th October).

Around 200 guests were present including many of the winners of CAMRA's 2008 awards including the recipients of CAMRA's Pub of the Year, Cider Pub of the Year, Real Ale in a Bottle Retailer of the Year and Champion Beer of Britain. Paula Waters, CAMRA's chairman presented the awards with Good Beer Guide Editor Roger Protz.

The overall winners of Champion Beer of Britain, Triple fff brewery were well represented at the lunch as were winners of the all the categories including Golden Ales and Mild and Best Bitter. Award-winning beers had been carefully matched to the lunch and guests had 10 different beers to choose from throughout the afternoon. MP John Grogan, chair of the All Parliamentary Beer Club entertained the guests at the end of the day with his after dinner speech.
