A little about us
Within the
Young Members Group (YMG) is every young CAMRA member. The moment you join you are automatically a part of it. A part of a group that campaigns on issues affecting Young CAMRA Members and encourage the drinking of Real Ale among young people who may not be CAMRA members.
You are encouraged to join in with numerous social activities that are organised nationally and locally, as well as becoming involved in CAMRA at local, regional and national levels. If you wish to, you can also get involved in, help run and organise CAMRA Young Members and shape the future of a growing part of the campaign.
The Young Members Committee
The YMG has a committee which is made up of younger members. The

Committee (
YMGC) has a responsibility to reflect the interests of all Young Members. It both reports to CAMRA and be a part of how CAMRA responds (and should respond) to Young Members and young people.
As well as having a YMGC, there are also
Regional
Young
Members
Co-ordinators (
RYMCs) and
Branch
Young
Members
Contacts (
BYMCs) who organise social events in the CAMRA Regions and Branches to get as many young people involved as possible.

There is a CAMRA Young Members
Google Group. The Google Group was set up as a discussion group so that Young CAMRA Members can air their views about subjects related to their membership, including Young Members social events and CAMRA policy, as well as talking about pubs, breweries and other beery stuff.
