CAMRA launches Peak District Pub Walks. 07/04/08
CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, today launches a new book entitled Peak District Pub Walks. The book is a practical pocket-sized, travellers' guide to some of the best pubs and best walking in the Peak District.

The Campaign for Real Ale is calling for a tax cut on beer in Wednesday's Budget to help prevent community pub closures following the results of a survey released today which reveals that the number of pubs closed permanently has increased to 57 a month.
"Adopt Your Local Pub" - For Community Pubs Week 2008. 14/01/08
Anyone concerned over the threat to British pubs is being encouraged to Adopt their local pub. Members of the public who want to support their local can do so by ordering a free Community Pubs Week pack from CAMRA by calling 01727 867201 or visiting www.pubsweek.org and delivering it to the licensee of the pub and encouraging them to participate in this event.
Finalists Announced For National Pub of The Year Title - 11/01/08
The Campaign for Real Ale today announces the finalists for the prestigious title of National Pub of the Year. Members of CAMRA from across the UK visited thousands of pubs before deciding on 16 regional winners. However, only four of these pubs could be put forward for the national final. The overall winner will be announced on February 15th 2008, on the eve of CAMRA's Community Pubs Week (February 16th - 23rd).
