The Great British Beer Festival 2008 has one again brought together a varied mix of live music to entertain you.
Tuesday evening begins the programme with the return of Beer Festival favourites the London based Chaminade String Quartet who will entertain with an eclectic repertoire from the classical strains of Vivaldi and Beethoven to jazz and popular favourites from musicals, stage and the charts.
Wednesday lunchtime brings the singer / song writing talents of Gary Fletcher who, as one of the original founding members of The Blues Band, has stepped out from the mighty vocal shadows of Paul Jones and Dave Kelly and offers a solo performance described by many, including Bob Harris of BBC Radio 2, as very Mark Knoplferish.
For their first appearance at The Great British Beer Festival welcome the Sheffield based band Treebeard whose musical style has been described as 'Heavy Wood', acoustic music played on a range of instruments, including guitar, fiddle, mandolin, bouzouki, accordion, balalaikas (of all sizes), plus assorted percussion, topped off with four and five part harmony vocals.
Thursday lunchtime brings the talents of three very experienced musicians under the name of L.T.D. who will share with us a wide a varied selection of acoustic, instrumental world roots music. L.T.D. are Tom Leary, Graeme Taylor and Jon Davie; all highly experienced musicians who have played alongside many big artists.

Providing the evening's entertainment on Thursday are the talents of The Peter Donegan Band. Peter, who is Lonnie Donegan's son, has now formed his own band who perform a celebration of his father's music done in their own imitable style. Imagine a melting-pot of electric and acoustic guitars, drums, banjo, piano, bass, fiddle and accordion bringing rock and roll back to it's roots and you're part way there.
Friday lunchtime welcomes The Martin Harley Band. Featuring the singer/songwriter Martin Harley the original sound draws on influences from old time blues and folk to world music to create songs that sound so familiar you think you've grown up with them. He has played with a number of artists including Bo Diddley, Joe Bonamassa, Lisa Mils, Dr Feelgood, Scott Mattews, James Blunt, Martin Simpson, Chas n Dave, Happy Mondays, Magic Numbers, Kate Walsh and many more.
Hang on to your hats - and shades - for a one night only ultimate action packed rhythm n' blues experience from The Bogus Blues Brothers. Friday night will never be the same as The Bogus Blues Brothers provide a high -energy mix of songs to entertain us.
To round of the week's progrmme off on Saturday join in with a traditional feast of music from the Fulham Brass Band Established in 1895, the group are now the last remaining Brass Band in central London. The band comprises of a core group of 35-40 musicians, who meet regularly to play music and strive to keep the genre of traditional brass band music alive.
