Take on a March for Men this Summer and help beat prostate cancer!

Leading men’s health charity, Prostate Cancer UK, is calling on pub landlords across the UK to get their regulars together and organise a walk as part of their March for Men campaign.

Already the most common cancer in men, prostate cancer is set to be the most common cancer of all by 2030, so the charity is urging everyone to get walking to stop more men dying of this disease.

One pub that has already donned their walking boots, is the Old White Horse in Stourbridge. Last year, landlord, James Doughty, raised an incredible £1,106 by organising a pub to pub walk around the local area on the August bank holiday weekend. James said “I have to say the winners in this situation are our regulars. They’re the ones who organised the pub crawl, and raised all this money for Prostate Cancer UK.”

Getting involved is simple, organize a walk around the local area starting and finishing at your pub or work together with other pubs in your area to plan a pub to pub walk and raise money to beat this terrible disease.
