Banks's

Banks’s Brews. Wholesome. Flavoursome. So Enjoysome.
Banks’s cask ale is the freshest pint in the Midlands, brewed using only natural, local ingredients. A taste enjoyed across the whole country – straight from the Black Country.
Two popular session ales are Banks’s Mild and Banks’s Bitter. Banks’s Bitter, at 3.8% ABV is deep gold in colour and crafted with the finest ingredients to deliver a malty beer with hoppy flavours and a clean finish. Banks’s Mild at 3.5% ABV is a light chestnut coloured beer, exhibiting a glorious balance. Malty with a perceptible burnt note, it's full bodied with a hint of bitterness counterbalancing the rich, biscuity flavour from the best barley.
Banks’s Park Brewery
The Banks’s Park Brewery was founded in 1875 on the site of an artesian well in Wolverhampton. This site is still the home of Banks's today, with many of the buildings remaining intact, including the old chimney that can be seen on the city skyline. Banks’s proud history and heritage isn't confined to our buildings either, even the live strain of yeast in all Banks's cask ales has been in use for over 100 years.
You can book a tour of Banks’s Park brewery and try your hand at being a Head Brewer. Touch, smell and explore the raw natural ingredients, learn about the brewing process from grass to grain and see how traditional brewing methods have evolved.
You can also take the fresh taste of Banks’s home with you from the Brewery Shop with a selection of cask conditioned ales and bottled beers available. Open Monday-Friday 10.00am-5pm, Saturdays 9.30am-12noon.
