Amber Ales
Welcome to the Amber Ales CAMRA Complimentary Club area of the CAMRA website.
Amber Ales is a small micro-brewery, located in the historic village of Pentrich, Derbyshire - producing a wide range of multi award-winning cask beers. The brewery was established in 2006 by brewer Peter Hounsell to create 'classic style real ales with a modern twist'; it has a wide range of speciality beers, alongside the more traditional pale ales and bitters, including Amber Valley Bitter (3.6%), Barnes Wallis (4.1%) and Imperial IPA (6.5%). All are made using whole hops, floor malted grain and sometimes more culinary ingredients.
Many of Amber's real ales are also available in bottle-conditioned, these include Amber Pale, Original Stout, Imperial IPA and Winter Ruby.
